Global Women’s Health
Consultancy
Equipping the Church to strengthen the health and dignity of women in the world’s most underserved regions
About Us
Jewels In A Crown partners with churches, missionaries, and local leaders to understand women’s health challenges. We then work together to develop culturally appropriate solutions that are co-created by communities, led by communities, and made to last.
We equip communities to understand and run health programs themselves so women feel empowered and the community can carry the program forward independently. This creates sustainable, long-lasting change that impacts women and girls for generations to come.
Why This Work Matters
Millions of girls and women around the world face barriers that affect their health, dignity, and ability to flourish- including poor maternal health, limited access to healthcare and education, gender-based violence, poverty, and inadequate sanitation and nutrition.
We believe where a girl is born should not determine whether she has the opportunity to live a healthy and dignified life.
And we believe the Church should be a part of creating that change- not only through words, but through tangible, loving actions in their communities just as Jesus did.
How We Help
Many churches and local leaders see women in their communities struggling with health challenges but don’t know where to begin.
That’s where Jewels In A Crown comes alongside of them.
We bring public health knowledge, research, and experience together with the wisdom of local people who know their communities best. Together, we work to understand the health challenges, identify what is contributing to them, and develop solutions that fit the community’s culture, resources, and strengths.
Meet Courtney
Global Health Consultant / Founder
Jewels In A Crown was born from Courtney’s desire to combine her experience in nursing, public health, community health, and international work to serve women and communities around the world.
Courtney spent the last ten years working as a nurse, primarily in pediatric home care. Her international experiences in Thailand, Ghana, Cape Verde, and other resource-limited settings helped shape her understanding of the importance of sustainable, community-led health development and led her to completing her Bachelor’s in Public Health followed by her Master’s in Public Health and Health Promotion.
Her dream is to be able to partner with women in countries all around the world, seeing the love of Jesus impact and change their communities from the inside out.
We do health development work that creates long lasting and sustainable impact for underserved women in the world.
